Online gambling regulation
US law is not as successful as the American leaders may have thought. Canadians (as well as British folk and Costa Ricans) have realized that the pro-online gambling law is something they should patch to their own government’s interests, and not to the so-called public interests, as seen in the US and its online gambling ban – is completely opposite than thought to be in the first place. Online gambling in the countries that seek regulation includes the incoming tax money and safe ads, which are the real payment to society, as this money comes back to society, and not stay with the credit companies.
This is the new route the online gambling community will take, which sounds reasonable to many. This has also been tried in Israel and the Palestinian Authority a few years ago. It might be working successfully – and make the US look very bad and pale. Online gambling, in the right sum – could be (and is) a very nice and wholesome form of home entertainment. Americans have made a mistake – as the online gambling industry on their soil has prepared all the changes needed to become profitable and work regardless of the law. The US should have been undergoing regulation process – such as in much smaller countries, rather than taking this move.
The talks on regulation are spoken on the lips of politicians and professors in all the countries mentioned above. This is a path that might create something new – and become real by next year. If the US online gambling companies do not recover quickly they might not survive this revolution. By now they are handling great, but what if they remain the only online gambling industry left illegal?
