Online Gambling Fans Writing to Their Senators
When we were growing up we were always told that when you wanted something done by the government, the best thing to do was write a letter to your senator. Although the world has changed, writing a letter means writing an email, playing your favorite computer games means having fun with online gambling, and your senators are probably just as old as you are; but that doesn't mean that the same strategy won't work to give the US the message that online casinos should be here to stay and enjoyed by US-based online casinos fans.
The US is currently taking steps towards banning the online gambling sites from the computers of all their residents, and although the House has yet to pass the legislation, it seems that in a short time this will happen. The PPA, or Poker Players Association, is urging online gambling fans across the US to write letter to their Senators explaining why the online gambling should not be banned from their PC. The PPA goal is to get almost every online gambling fan to write a letter and hopefully get things changed in Washington.
Sure, it seems that writing one measly letter or email will not change the decision that the US has made in regards to online gambling, but trust us it does make a difference. Think about it this way. If your Senator has already received 99 letters from other online gambling fans, yours will bring him up to 100, and that will definitely get your Senator thinking about his vote during the next election. So, don't think that one online gambling fan can't make a difference, because the fact of the matter is, you really can keep the casino on the web.
